Everything was really perfect here. The rooms were well-appointed and luxurious with piano, the garden, as for instance, no complaints whatsoever. The bar was fantastic. The hotel met needs, I would stay here again.

J s is a gem the staff are well trained and knowledgeable the hotel locale and layout is superb I particularly enjoyed the gardens and interior court yard upper balcony a great place to sit and relax in the late afternnoon with a drink.
I found the interior interesting but cluttered and rather too eclectic for my taste. We were lodged in one of the smaller guest rooms the over abundance of curtaining made it almost impossible to move around in the morning, and it was a very small double bed.

the rooms turned out to be luxurious and elegant with the patio, a bathtub, as example. the location was convenient and fantastic, around 10-15 minutes walk from a roman amphitheatre.

We stayed for two nights and felt like we'd been here for a week - if you want somewhere where you can totally chill and yet have the city feel of Nimes only a stone's throw away then this is the place. Intimate, personal and breathtakingly bursting at the seams with antiquities. Cannot fault the attention to detail and service provided from the moment we arrived until we left. We were upgraded to a suite - gloriously furnished and an amazingly comfortable (and large!) bed. Breakfast was expensive, the service excellent and the fact that you could have stayed there snacking all morning on the delicious breads and jams without being rushed to move on, made the price bearable! We used the spa - we were sceptical about how good the massage could be...after all, it had Thailand to beat. Have to say - it was probably the best massage we have had in Europe. Be warned - this is an expensive place to stay, it is full of antiques, bric a brac and the most amazing books, the birdsong that greets you when you walk in almost makes you feel like you are walking into a filmset. Well worth a visit (or two!).

Wonderful little hotel, we stay there for two nights and everything was perfect. The place is something in between a antique shop and a boutique hotel, full of character and has a lovely garden, ideal to relax around the pool in the olives trees shadow. The breakfast it's something that should not be missed, the presentation, the jam collection... Lovely.
The room - double room - is cute but small and the bed rather uncomfortable. Living there for more then a night or two will be quite a challenge.
